About JayHawk Energy, Inc.

JayHawk Energy, Inc. is an independent, managed risk, oil and gas exploration, development and production company headquartered in Post Falls, Idaho with field offices in North Dakota and Kansas. The Company’s current focus is on the exploration, drilling, and development of our key asset currently consists of 17,000 gross acres of mineral title on a light crude producing property in Candak, North Dakota, part of the Williston Basin. JayHawk is moving forward with a new and substantial development drilling program at Candak. Our secondary property is located on 45,000 gross acres of mineral title with producing and non-producing coal-bed methane gas reserves and a 18 mile pipeline tied to sales located in the Bourbon and Crawford County, Kansas.

Management Team

Lindsay Gorrill - President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Lindsay Gorrill is a C.A. and has university degrees in Finance and Marketing. Mr. Gorrill, the former President and CEO of WGI Heavy Minerals, has a background in acquisitions, company building, financial markets and world exposure. He is also the former president and CEO of Berkley resources, a light crude, gas and sour gas company based in Calgary, Alberta. Mr. Gorrill has 19 years experience in the resource sector and 17 years experience in successful international company building, nationally and internationally.

Kelly Stopher - Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Stopher has over 20 years experience in supporting financial operations for leading Fortune 500 companies and national organizations. Mr. Stopher has developed strategies to implement financial management systems, internal control policies and procedures, and financial reporting and modeling for small-cap companies. He has extensive experience in preparation of all financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, reports to shareholders, tax returns and compliance issues/filings as they relate to government regulatory agencies. His particular expertise is analyzing company operations to pinpoint opportunities in areas that need reorganization, downsizing or streamlining. Mr. Stopher is also proficient at negotiations and establishing financial structures for potential financings.

Matt Wayrynen - Chairman
Mr. Wayrynen has served in a variety of positions within the oil and gas and mining sectors and has served as a Director for several companies. Mr. Wayrynen currently acts as Vice President of Operations and a Director for Bralorne Gold Mines, Ltd as well as Director for Quinto Mining Corporation. In addition to this, Mr. Wayrynen serves as CEO, Executive Chairman and Director of Berkley Resources Inc. and Vice President of Coral Gold Resources Ltd. Prior to this, Mr. Wayrynen acted as President and a Director for Berkley Resources Inc. He was also an investment advisor with Golden Capital Securities Ltd.

Tyrone Docherty - Director
Mr. Docherty, Canadian, was appointed as the President, CEO and a director of Golden Odyssey Mining Inc. in October 2008. Prior to his current appointment he was the President, CEO and a director of Quinto Mining Corporation Company from June, 1997 to June 2008. The market capitalization of Quinto at the time of his appointment was approximately $4.5 million. Mr. Docherty was responsible for the day-to-day management of the Company’s affairs including, obtaining financing both public and private, acquiring various mineral properties, negotiating joint ventures and option agreements as well as overseeing the exploration programs. In June 2008 with Quinto’s market capitalization standing at $175,000,000 the assets of Quinto mining were sold to Consolidated Thompson Iron Mines for full market cap value. Consolidated Thompson is an advanced iron ore company in Quebec and is expected to start production in October 2009. Tyrone raised approximately $30 million for Quinto during the years he was President.

Jeff Bright - Director
Mr. Bright is an attorney by trade, who acts on a broad range of business transactions, both in Canada and internationally, predominantly in the energy and related industries. He has guided his clients through startup and financing's to public offerings and strategic mergers. Currently, Mr. Bright serves as an associate in Gowlings' Calgary office, practicing in the area of corporate commercial law. He is an active member of the Canadian Petroleum Law Foundation's organizing committee for its annual Jasper Seminar and a number of committees with the American Bar Association and the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators.
